You won’t believe what we heard while Kansas City was knocking off Buffalo.
On Sunday night, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship. Here’s some of what Tom Ruprecht overheard on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
- “Ever have a nightmare where you’re on stage and you don’t have any idea what you’re supposed to do? Welcome to Kaiir Elam’s nightmare.”
- “I wonder if there’s anywhere in Missouri a kickoff could land that Remigio wouldn’t return it.”
- “Screw the game, CBS. Tell me more about how Watson is a doctor and a detective!”
- “It’s like I always say, the team that commits the turnover is gonna win this game.”
- “Don’t give up hope, Josh. Maybe Mahomes will decide to go play minor league baseball like Jordan.”
- “So after that drop, should Chiefs fans donate money to Dalton Kincaid’s charity?”
- “Our run defense looks shaky, but thankfully, Barkley isn’t that big a threat.”
- “In that photo of A.J. Brown’s copy of Inner Excellence, please note he’s only made it to the top of Page 3.”
- “The Kelce brothers loose in New Orleans for a week. What could go wrong?”
- “If you listen closely, you can hear Will Anderson Jr. still whining down in Texas.”
