Super Bowl LIX was a little over a week ago, and one of the players in that game is already on the move. Over the weekend, the Chicago Bears announced they had signed former Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Swayze Bozeman to the roster.
Bozeman joined the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Miss in 2024, spending most of the season on the practice squad. He primarily played a role on special teams, appearing in three regular-season games and getting three tackles.
The 24-year-old played in all three Chiefs playoff games, including the 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. He collected two tackles while covering on special teams, a role he will likely see again in Chicago while competing for playing time on defense.
