The biggest moments we saw as Kansas City once again earned a trip to the Super Bowl.
On Sunday evening, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 32-29, winning the AFC Championship and earning a trip to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.

After forcing a three-and-out to begin the game, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs methodically marched down the field, finishing the drive with a handoff to running back Kareem Hunt, who took it 12 yards for the touchdown.
2. Xavier Worthy gets into the end zone.

Before the game, rookie running back Xavier Worthy spoke about how, heading into the AFC Championship, he remembered draft night, when the Bills traded their No. 28 overall pick to the Chiefs to select him. This 11-yard catch gave Kansas City the go-ahead touchdown in the second quarter.
3. Mahomes extends the Chiefs’ lead.

Following an impressive 26-yard contested catch by Worthy down the right sideline, the Chiefs came up to third-and-1 at the Buffalo goal line. Mahomes looked to the end zone before seeing a lane and taking it in himself — giving the Chiefs a 21-10 lead.

With its drive at the end of the second quarter and the beginning of the third quarter, the Bills took the lead and were driving to extend it when they faced a fourth-and-1 at midfield. Linebacker Nick Bolton stood tall — and after an official review, the Chiefs had the ball.

With the game on the line, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo dialed up pressure to confuse Bills quarterback Josh Allen — and though he was able to get the pass off, defensive end George Karlaftis provided enough pressure to alter the fourth-down throw. The pass came up short, Kansas City got the ball back and ran out the clock.
