Today, the Kansas City Chiefs are conducting their second practice of Week 12 to prepare for a matchup against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, November 24.
A loss for the Chiefs typically results in the beginning of a new winning streak and, on paper, the Panthers should be an easy team to “get right” against after the Buffalo Bills dashed Kansas City’s hopes of a perfect season in Week 11.
More importantly, the Chiefs need to secure a win in Carolina while the Bills are on a bye this week to maintain their lead over Buffalo in the AFC standings. A lapse now could cost Kansas City the No. 1 seed if they don’t emerge from Week 12 with their 10th victory of the season.
