Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is widely regarded as one of the best skippers in the NFL and achieved another impressive milestone after his team’s divisional-round playoff win over the Houston Texans.
On Saturday, the Chiefs hosted the Texans at Arrowhead Stadium and earned a convincing 23-14 win that will send Kansas City to its seventh-consecutive AFC Championship Game.
The victory marked Reid’s 300th career win, a feat only accomplished by legendary coaches George Halas, Dona Shula, and Bill Belichick.
The experts at Pro Football Network broke down Reid’s latest accomplishment after the game.
“The Chiefs’ win over the Texans secured Andy Reid’s 300th victory as an NFL head coach, making him the fourth to achieve this milestone. He has won 273 regular-season games and 27 playoff games, including three Super Bowl championships.”
Stay tuned to see if Reid can earn win No. 301 next week as the Chiefs set their sights on a third-consecutive Super Bowl victory.
