The Kansas City Chiefs have named Louisiana teacher Elise Boutin as their Norma Hunt Super Bowl Champion of Education award winner for 2024.
This award seeks to distinguish female educators for their commitment to education, their dedication in the classroom, and their selfless service to the next generation of students.
Last season marked the first year that the highly coveted honor was awarded. It was given to Kayla McClellan, a teacher at Lincoln High School in Kansas City, who was also awarded two tickets to Super Bowl LVIII as a part of her prize.
The Chiefs paid tribute to Boutin on her selection in a post on Twitter:
Elise Boutin is this year’s Norma Hunt Super Bowl Champion of Education!
She teaches English at Rayne High School where she also spearheads a project fair and connects students with broadcasting opportunities.
We were honored to have her attend SBLIX in Norma’s honor

Boutin is a teacher in Louisiana and was chosen as the award winner with the help of the New Orleans Saints and the NFL.
Like McClellan, the Pelican State educator was given tickets to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans as part of her award.
