On Friday, it was announced that Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had won the prestigious ‘Playoff NVP’ award, which is given to the top performer in the NFL playoffs by Nickelodeon each year.
Mahomes, who also managed to lead Kansas City to a 15-1 record in the regular season in games he was under center, put together career-defining performances against the Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills last month to earn the Chiefs a spot in Super Bowl LIX.
Though Mahomes is unlikely to win the Associated Press MVP award, his 2024 campaign was among the most impressive of any player in the league this season.

As the NFL’s reigning Super Bowl MVP, Mahomes will give Kansas City a huge edge over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
Stay tuned to see if Mahomes and the Chiefs can make NFL history by defeating Philadelphia to complete the league’s first-ever Super Bowl three-peat.
