In today’s heated AFC West showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos, star tight end Travis Kelce hit another career milestone by catching a touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes in the second quarter.
His latest six-point score was the 76th receiving touchdown of his career since joining Kansas City as a third-round pick in the 2013 NFL draft.
Kelce’s incredible feat gave him a new spot in the Chiefs’ record books, tying Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez’s mark for the most receiving touchdowns in franchise history.
Chiefs Communications shared Kelce’s accomplishment on Twitter after his touchdown against the Broncos on Sunday:
With that TD reception, TE Travis Kelce now has 76 career touchdown catches, tying PFHOF TE Tony Gonzalez for the most touchdown receptions in franchise history. It’s his 2nd TD catch of the season.

Expect Mahomes to continue looking Kelce’s way as Kansas City looks to complete a comeback in the second half of its rivalry matchup against the Broncos this afternoon.
