There are a lot of really good teams in the AFC as only four teams finished more than one game below .500 last season. But for NFL analyst LeSean McCoy, none of those teams can hold a candle to the Kansas City Chiefs.
On Friday’s edition of Speak, McCoy was asked which team he feels is the biggest threat to the Chiefs right now. That caused the former All-Pro running back to go off, declaring that he’s tired of having the same conversations about the Chiefs’ “biggest threat” every year after they wind up back in the Super Bowl seemingly every time.
“The Chiefs were winning with all of these special players and weapons. Then they get rid of (wide receiver) Tyreek Hill. Nobody thought that they would go back again. They do it again! And you look at this year – they weren’t that good… and then they win a championship. And we’re at the same spot again. We’re at the same spot every year and I’m tired of it! I will not be fooled. Every year we say ‘Who’s the biggest threat to the Chiefs?’ and we throw these teams around. And what do the Chiefs do? They win and they win and they win again. So, me, myself, LeSean McCoy, I will not sit up here and… play this game with the big dogs… There’s no threat to the Chiefs!”

McCoy won Super Bowls playing both for and against the Chiefs, so he’s seen how they win and hot to beat them.
He does make an interesting point. The Chiefs have reached six straight AFC Championship Games, going 4-2 in the final AFC game en route to three Super Bowl titles.
The only teams that have stopped them from winning six Super Bowls are two Tom Brady-led teams and a herculean effort from Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals several seasons ago.
Is McCoy onto something here? Are there really no serious threats to the Chiefs in the conference?
