Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is enjoying the action at Wimbledon this Friday, but he may not be fond of the weather in London.
Mahomes showed up to Center Court this Friday in a gray pinstripe blazer. The three-time Super Bowl champion was also sporting funky shades.
By the time Carlos Alcaraz and Frances Tiafoe’s match reached the fourth set, Mahomes decided to ditch his blazer.
ESPN’s camera crew at Wimbledon got a shot of Mahomes sitting in the stands in a white T-shirt. It was a plain look, but we can’t fault him for trying to be more comfortable in those conditions.
Mahomes got to watch quite the match between Alcaraz and Tiafoe, that’s for sure.
Tiafoe went on a run in the first set to grab the early lead over Alcaraz, but it wasn’t long before the defending Wimbledon champion tied things up. In the third set, Tiafoe recaptured the lead to put Alcaraz on the brink of elimination.
Unfortunately for Tiafoe, he was unable to elevate his game in the fourth set tiebreak. Alcaraz, on the other hand, played his best when it mattered most.
The fifth and final set was absolutely dominated by Alcaraz, who punched his ticket to the round of 16.
