The Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles halted their chances at a three-peat and opened the door for some changes.
According to a CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz report, The Chiefs are hiring Chris Orr as a quality control coach. The former Wisconsin Badgers standout was welcomed to Chiefs Kingdom by Chiefs linebacker and fellow alum Leo Chenal.
“Death Row full steam ahead! We ready to work!!” posted Chenal to his former teammates’ message, confirming he’s taking the job in Kansas City.

During Orr’s best collegiate season, he was an All-Big Ten linebacker and team captain at Wisconsin, tallying 78 tackles and 11.5 sacks in 2019,
Chris’ brother, Zach Orr, is the defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens, one of Kansas City’s AFC rivals. He played one season with the Carolina Panthers in 2020 before joining Wisconsin’s staff as the director of player development in 2021. He played in the USFL for a stint and re-entered the coaching with the Jackson State staff.
