The Kansas City Chiefs gained a lift in Week 12 with a narrow 30-27 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
Hopefully, this game will be the start of a new winning streak for Kansas City as the defending Super Bowl champions look to finish their 2024 regular season campaign on a high note.
The Chiefs came into this matchup with a 9-1 record, and seemed to have an advantage over Carolina on paper on both sides of the ball. Patrick Mahomes led Kansas City to a touchdown on the game’s first drive, and the Chiefs’ defense was able to hold the Panthers to field goals early in the matchup.
Despite expectations of an easy win things came down to the wire for Kansas City, which has become something of a theme for the Chiefs recently.
Kansas City won thanks to a last-second field goal by kicker Spencer Shrader.
