Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are going strong nearly one year after they became an official item.
Assuming the famous couple makes it to Christmas, let’s hope they have a better one in 2024 than they did last year. On this week’s episode of the “Bussin’ with The Boys” podcast, Kelce said his first Christmas with Swift was “ruined” by the fact the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Las Vegas Raiders.
“We got our a– beat by the f—–g Raiders on Christmas. F—–g ruined Christmas, motherf—–s,” Kelce said. “[Antonio Pierce], he had those dudes were ready to brawl out there on the field. One hundred percent man. And I love that s–t. “I was like, man if we play with that kind of edge, or that kind of toughness, that kind of like don’t f–k with us mentality, we won’t be stopped. And it just kind of ended up like that. But that Raiders game was definitely a turning point.”
While the Raiders may have put a damper on Kelce and Swift’s first Christmas together, it seems like they inadvertently provided the motivation necessary for Kansas City to repeat as champions.
The Chiefs’ 20-14 loss to Las Vegas on Christmas was the team’s final defeat of the season.
Kansas City won its final two regular season games to finish 11-6 and then swept through the playoffs, winning four straight to capture a second consecutive Super Bowl.
The Chiefs are once again scheduled to play on Christmas this season, against the Steelers in Pittsburgh.
