Travis Kelce was more than willing to talk about his romance with Taylor Swift during a recent appearance on the “Bussin’ with the Boys” podcast. He even revealed how the Kansas City Chiefs handled the early stages of their relationship.
Swifties will be happy to learn that Kansas City’s locker room wasn’t against Kelce’s decision to date Swift.
“Nobody game me [expletive],” Kelce said. “Nobody knew what was going on all over the place. We kinda kept it between us as much as we could. Once she came to a game, it was obvious popping from there.”
Kelce then made it abundantly clear that he’s not embarrassed to be in relationship with Swift. In fact, he’s proud to say that she’s his lady.
“You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything,” Kelce said. “That’s my girl. That’s my lady. It’s like, I’m proud of that.
“I’m not sitting here trying to juggle like, ‘How can I keep this under wraps?’ You just don’t want to let everybody into your personal life and be able to comment on it, knowing that everything she does is getting a headline.”
Last weekend, Kelce played a minor role in Swift’s concert at Wembley Stadium. It’s a moment neither one of them will ever forget.
At this rate, Kelce and Swift should still be going strong when Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season arrives.
