The Wildcats look to get back on track tonight while on the road to face the Bearcats.
Things probably could have gone worse for Kansas State last weekend in Stillwater, but thankfully the embarrassing 30-point defeat at the hands of the Cowgirls didn’t also include any injuries or suspensions. So, silver lining.
The MittieCats (22-3, 10-2 Big 12) still sit atop the Big 12, just back in a tie for first again, and still have everything to play for. But they can’t have any more efforts like the one in Stillwater if they want to finish in a position for the regular season conference crown.
So tonight they will look to get back in the groove against a Cincinnati squad that sits in the middle of the Big 12 at 14-8, and 6-6 in Big 12 play. This will be K-State’s first rematch game of the season, and previously beat up on the Bearcats 76-59 in Bramlage back before Christmas in the conference opener.
This is a game K-State should win, and needs to win. Hopefully they bounce back strong from that setback in Oklahoma.
