The MittieCats welcome the Aggies in the final non-con game of the regular season.
Earlier than most seasons in recent memory, your Kansas State Wildcats are back in action today in their final non-conference game of the regular season, as Big 12 play starts in earnest on Dec. 22nd.
The #13/12 MittieCats are set to take on the Aggies of New Mexico state in this finale. The Aggies are 6-4 on the season so far against a pretty meh schedule, and are currently 125th in the NET rankings. Of note, they lost 90-50 to #4 Texas in the Gulf Coast Showcase back at the end of November.
This shouldn’t be much of a challenge game for the Cats, and more of a final game to get prepped for Cincinnati this Sunday and the start of conference play. Get minutes for the bench, get the final kinks worked out, and keep everyone healthy.
We’ve got a 6:30pm CT tipoff for the game this evening from Bramlage Coliseum, and you can catch the action on ESPN+ with Brian Smoller (play-by-play), Kindred Orpin (analyst), and Hannah Whetstone (sideline) on the call.
If you can’t access the stream, the game can be heard across portions of the 28-station K-State Sports Network with Matt Walters (play-by-play) and Kristin Waller (analyst) calling the action. The game will also be available online at K-Statesports.com and via the Varsity Network app, as well as on satellite radio on SiriusXM Ch. 138 or 198. Live stats are also available at k-statesports.com, and social media updates (@KStateWBB) will also be a part of the coverage.
Go Cats!
