Jacques “Deebo” Spradley-Demps (b. Nov. 13, 2005) is a physical, young, “stupid fast” wideout from Weiss High School in Pflugerville, Texas, who plans on majoring in economics.
Although he likely will redshirt in 2024, I think he could play in a few games because speed.
Spradley-Demps prepped under head coach Vernon Hughes at Weiss, where he was regarded as the 75th-best wide receiver (and a 4-star player!) in the Class of 2024 by On3.
He earned second-team all-state accolades in addition to all-district honors as a senior, and caught 109 passes for 1,499 yards and 19 touchdowns during his final three prep seasons.
Spradley-Demps, who seems to really have his head on straight, chose K-State over offers from Arkansas State, Baylor, Boston College, Colorado State, Incarnate Word, Memphis, New Mexico State, North Texas (from which he previously de-committed), TCU, Texas State, Toledo, Tulane, UTSA and Virginia, as well as interest from Penn State.
His primary recruiter was his new position coach, wide receivers coach Matthew Middleton.
