Kansas State head coach Jerome Tang is garnering tons of praise for his postgame decision on Saturday night.
The Wildcats’ magical NCAA Tournament run came to an end at the hands of the No. 9 seed FAU Owls this evening. KSU falls one game short of the Final Four.
Tang didn’t have a sour taste in his mouth after the game, though.
The Kansas State head coach joined the Owls in their locker room after the game to congratulate them on their Elite 8 victory.
“Jerome Tang went into the FAU locker room after the game. Told the Owls’ they’re the toughest team his guys played all year and he’s rooting for them. This guy is absolutely one of a kind,” said Glenn Kinley.

Jerome Tang’s a real one. It takes some serious class to congratulate the team that just knocked you out of the tournament, one game short of the Final Four.
The Wildcats can hold their heads up high, though. Kansas State has plenty to be proud of following a spectacular season. The future is bright in The Little Apple.
FAU, meanwhile, will play the winner of SDSU-Creighton in the Final Four.
