A listless performance deserving of scorn.
David N’Guessan had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, and Coleman Hawkins had 18 points as Kansas State fell to Oklahoma State tonight 79-66 at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla.
Oklahoma State is, of course, terrible, although not as terrible as this Wildcat squad. K-State showed signs of maybe getting it together as 2024 came to a close, but the last two outings have been more of the same dreck that epitomized the non-conference slate.
There’s not really much more to say about it. This team simply doesn’t care, and we all know on whom that reflects.
The Cats had a shot to be 9-5 and 3-0 in conference play, with two very winnable early games following their upset of Cincinnati; now they’re 7-7 and 1-2 with #12 Houston coming to town on Saturday.
Will anyone even be there?
