Time for the annual sellout in Manhattan.
Kansas hits the road for what I’m assuming will be KState’s first (and like only) sellout this season in part two of the annual Sunflower Showdown with Kansas State.
KU enters the contest at 16-6 and ranked #16 in the latest AP Poll. Meanwhile, KState comes in unranked at 11-11. KenPom has the Jayhawks at #9 and the Cats at #65.
Kansas is 203-96 all-time against KState. The most recent meeting was an 84-74 KU win back in January in Lawrence.
The Jayhawks are coming off a 69-52 home win vs Iowa State, while the Cats are coming off a 71-70 road win at Arizona State.
Here are the essentials:
The Numbers
#16 Kansas: 16-6, 7-4 Big 12
K-State: 11-11, 5-6 Big 12
Line: Kansas -3.5
