
What the hell is CBS thinking?
Firmly in the grasp of a February slump, the once mighty Kansas Jayhawks limp home to Allen Fieldhouse to host the struggling Cowboys of Oklahoma State.
KU enters the contest at 17-9 and ranked #23 in the latest AP Poll, a spot which they are highly likely to fall out of come Monday. Meanwhile, OSU comes in unranked at 13-13. KenPom has the Jayhawks at #22 and the Cowboys at #101.
Kansas is 126-60 all-time against OSU. The most recent meeting was an 83-54 KU win in January of 2024 in Lawrence.
The Jayhawks are coming off a 91-57 road loss at BYU, while the Cowboys are coming off a 104-95 home win over Directional Florida.

KU will retire Dutch Lonborg’s #7 jersey today. While playing at KU (1917-19), Lonborg was three-time all conference in football, as well as two-time all-conference in basketball and a Helms All-American first teamer. He would later serve as athletic director at KU for 14 years, overseeing projects such as the construction of Allen Fieldhouse, Hoglund Park, and an expansion of Memorial Stadium.
