Having won their last two times out, the Kansas Jayhawks barely managed to clinch a .500 February as they prepare to open March at home against the Red Raiders of Texas Tech.
KU enters the contest at 19-9 and unranked in the latest AP Poll; the Jayhawks are still receiving votes however. Meanwhile, Texas Tech comes in ranked #10 in the AP Poll at 21-7. KenPom has the Jayhawks at #20 and the Raiders at #7.
Kansas is 42-8 all-time against TTU. The most recent meeting was a 79-50 Tech win in February of 2024 in Lubbock.
The Jayhawks are coming off a 71-64 road win at Colorado, while the Red Raiders are coming off a 69-61 road loss at Houston.

Kansas finds itself unranked for the first time since February of 2021, which you may remember was played amid the Covid pandemic. That season would end with a 34-point loss to USC in the NCAA Tournament, which at the time was Bill Self’s worst defeat at Kansas.
