Kansas will not be playing football games at its home stadium for the 2024 season.
Due to construction at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, games will have to be played at a couple of different locations.
Per Brett McMurphy, Kansas will play Lindenwood & UNLV at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City and will also play some Big 12 home games at Arrowhead, home of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fans will get the unique experience of going to Arrowhead for a college game. Arrowhead is regarded as the loudest stadium in the NFL and there’s a chance that now translates over to college as well.
Phase one of this construction plan for the stadium is expected to be completed by 2025.
Kansas is coming off a 2023 season in which it went 9-4 after a win over UNLV in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.
