Lance Leipold appears set to lose a key off-field staff member. According to Bruce Feldman of The Athletic, KU’s Director of Scouting Scott Aligo is “expected to become the GM at Coastal Carolina.” The move is a clear step up the ladder in college football personnel departments.

The status of KJ Adams is up in the air after the KU forward suffered an apparent shoulder injury in the second half of KU basketball’s loss to Iowa State. Bill Self said KU will be “lucky” if Adams doesn’t have to miss time due to the injury.
