Bill Self says Darryn Peterson is ‘the best player’ he’s recruited at Kansas
Kansas basketball will have a special guest when it takes on West Virginia on New Year’s Eve. Five-star KU signee Darryn Peterson will be on hand for KU’s Big 12 opener. Due to Peterson’s busy schedule with Prolific Prep, Tuesday afternoon’s contest could be his only chance to see KU play inside of Allen Fieldhouse this season. Prolific Prep has over 35 games on its schedule for the 2024-25 campaign and that’s before factoring in postseason play. So, it’s safe to say the five-star prospect has a busy schedule.
