Calvin Clements reflects on his bowl game experience, discusses his mindset for 2024
Growing up in Lawrence, playing for Kansas football was a dream for Calvin Clements. The offensive lineman got to live some aspects of that dream during his first six months with the KU program, as he enrolled early and hit the ground running. During his freshman season, Clements was on the two deep but had to wait to see the field. He made his debut against Cincinnati in KU’s final regular season game of the season. What happened next was the moment Clements had been working towards.
How Jeff Grimes is empowering KU’s skill position players to make more plays this fall
The Kansas football offense is one of the most experienced units in the Big 12. The Jayhawks have a core group of skill position players — along with quarterback Jalon Daniels — who have all been playing together over the last three seasons. Not only is Devin Neal entering his senior season and fourth year with the program, but KU’s leading trio of wide receivers Luke Grimm, Lawrence Arnold and Quentin Skinner are all entering their senior years. A few days ago, the core four skill position players and Daniels were on the field together for a full practice for the first time since last September.
Notebook: Lance Leipold talks Jayhawks in the NFL, training camp and more
The start of the Kansas football season is just eight days away. KU has been hard at work over the last three weeks as the Jayhawks went through their training camp. With KU set to begin classes a week later than many other schools, KU has gotten an extra week of the “camp” format. KU’s schedule includes a morning practice, afternoon meetings and sometimes a walk-through in the evening. It’s a jam-packed day of football that isn’t able to happen when classes begin.

The Acolyte Failed Because Star Wars Forgot George Lucas’ Most Important Lesson
The Acolyte has officially been canceled by Lucasfilm, and one major reason lies in the fact Star Wars has forgotten George Lucas’ most important lesson. Star Wars’ Disney+ TV shows have hardly been an unabashed success; there have been some classics, but there have also been massive stumbles. The Acolyte is Disney+’s first official Star Wars cancelation; although the studio hasn’t made any public statements on the cancelation, it’s believed to be due to low viewership.
