Highly touted Towson transfer Nick Timberlake has committed to Kansas, he announced Wednesday.
The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 17.7 points on 45.5-percent shooting while adding 3.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
He chose the Jayhawks over North Carolina and UConn, among several others.
Timberlake is the first portal get for Bill Self and company this offseason.
KU will also bring in four commits in a star-studded 2023 class, featuring five-stars Elmarko Jackson and four-stars Chris Johnson, Marcus Adams Jr., and Jamari McDowell.
