Twins vs. Royals
Happy baseball Monday! Tonight, the Royals play the Twins for the first time this season. Last year, the Twins barely squeaked by with the series lead, winning seven games to Kansas City’s six. This year, the Royals hope to get out to a good start against a fellow American League division rival.
Of note today: Michael Lorenzen is making another start for the Royals. Maikel Garcia has quickly ensconced himself as a key member of the offense and is getting a half day off while playing as the designated hitter. That means MJ Melendez and Hunter Renfroe are both in the lineup.
