Fist playoff game in KC since 2015
Here we go for game 3, back home tied 1-1. The Royals have a chance to finish it at home if they win today and tomorrow. So far, the series has been tightly contested and most of the scoring has not been predicated on either teams’ stars. Will one of the MVP candidates have a signature game tonight?
Seth Lugo will be on the mound for the Royals after out-dueling Zach Efflin a week ago in Baltimore. His first playoff start for KC went 4.1 innings while giving up just one run. Hopefully he can match or exceed that tonight. He will be facing Clarke Schmidt, a 28 year old righty who had a solid regular season campaign. This will be his first playoff start.

No big surprises here, except for maybe Frazier starting in right. Hoping the platoon advantage gets the Royals something and then pinch hit for him in the late innings.
