Can the offense get going and prevent the dreaded sweep?
It has been a rough first two games for the Royals. They have struggled to do anything offensively and they have made some costly defensive miscues. 3rd baseman/left fielder Jonathan India left the game last night with right quad tightness. He isn’t in the lineup today. However, Maikel Garcia who is crushing the baseball, albeit with some bad luck, gets another shot at being a leadoff hitter for today’s contest.

The Guardians have won their first five home games this season, after sweeping the White Sox and winning the series against Kansas City. They had the best home record in the American League last year at 50-30. They aren’t fully healthy and haven’t played as well as they were last year, but they are showing how dangerous they still can be. Here is how they will start to try and get another home sweep.

It’s an Opening Day rematch between Cole Ragans and Ben Lively, can the Royals come out on top this time and avoid being swept for the first time this season?
