Royals open a 10-game road trip against a division foe.
The 7-6 Royals open a 10-game roadtrip in the eastern time zone tonight against the 6-6 Cleveland Guardians at 5:10pm US Central time. They’ve got three against CLE, three against NYY, and four against DET before coming back home on April 22.
Hunter Harvey was placed on the 15-day IL this afternoon, and Steven Cruz was called up in his place. I wonder if this means Daniel Lynch IV gets more high-leverage situations? I don’t know who’s next up in the bullpen.
Kris Bubic, who has allowed only one run so far this season, takes the hill for the Royals. Tanner Bibee, who was last seen getting absolutely shelled by the Angels (really? The Angels?), starts for the Guardians.
